My name is Annette Hill. My orientation is primarily Psychodynamic. However I use many different approaches to suit the needs of the client. For Example: Psychodynamic, Humanistic, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Gestalt.I have recently been awarded - recently awarded the Diploma in “Trauma and Mental Health in Schools” practitioner status and can offer “Trauma Informed Schools” Supervision.
I specialise in: Anxiety, ranges of Depression, Bereavement and Loss, Separation/Divorce, Abuse, Low Self-Esteem, Self-Harm, Eating Disorders, Stress, Anger, Trauma, Work Related Issues, Suicidal Thoughts....
I studied four years at Cambridge and gained Diploma's in Therapeutic Counselling and Counselling practice. I also gained qualifications in Mental Health.
I am a Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
BACP is a professional company that represents Counsellors and promotes good standards of pratice. It is an ethical requirement to participate in "Continual Professional Development" which is accessed through attending regular Supervision, Training course, Workshops and Seminars.
In receiving "CPD" this informs me of all the latest developments, increases knowledge and maintains my professional skills. In other words enhancing the service I give to clients ethically and competently.
